PRIVACY POLICY

Savills (Aust) Pty Ltd and its subsidiary companies (Savills) complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) as amended by the Privacy Amendment (Private Sector) Act 2000 (Privacy Act).

Purpose

Savills takes its obligations under the Privacy Act seriously and takes all reasonable steps to comply with the Privacy Act and protect the privacy of the personal information that Savills holds. 

Collection of information

Savills collects personal information in a fair and lawful manner.  Savills will usually collect information directly from its customers, clients, suppliers and contractors.
Some of Savills' websites invite you to contact us or to provide information about yourself.  We use the information to respond to your query and deliver information most suited to your needs. 

Savills' websites use cookies.  Cookies are pieces of information that a website can transfer to an individual's computer for tracking user navigation and customising site information to further improve and enhance the user experience.

Savills takes all reasonable steps to ensure that personal information is secure from any unauthorised access or disclosure.  Information is securely stored and access is restricted to authorised Savills personnel only.  Your information is not shared with third parties unless expressly communicated when you submit the information.  Savills holds personal information in the strictest confidence.  However, where it is necessary for law enforcement purposes or where we believe there is a threat to a person's safety or health, Savills may need to disclose your personal information to third parties as required by law.

Access to your personal information

Savills provides access to any personal information that we hold about you.  You have the opportunity to opt out, check or correct any information you submit to Savills.
