Originally settled in 1822, the suburb of Wahroonga is situated approximately 20 km from the Sydney CBD, with a postcode of 2076. The suburb is easily accessible via public transport with frequent trains running into the city and surrounding suburbs as well as buses running in and out of the suburb.

As one of Sydney’s older suburbs, the suburb features a range in architectural styles. The suburb is characterised by Federation, Edwardian and Georgian large family homes. Some of these homes are on exceptionally large blocks of approximately 2000 sqm. The suburb also features a number of modern homes as well as the classic Californian bungalow.

Schooling requirements are met by a number of local and surrounding suburbs including Wahroonga Public School, Wahroonga Preparatory School, Wahroonga Adventist Primary School, Abbotsleigh and Knox Grammar School.

Wahroonga has a local shopping centre which includes all the essential necessities including supermarket, hardware store, pharmacy and cafes.
